Starting point is an unflattering self portrait. Tuymans uses the dullness of every day life to deconstruct the rock star status some artists have attained nowadays.

Using original receipts, photographs and paintings, the exhibition aims to recreate, in parts, the garden that served as a model for many of the French painter's works. The exhibition runs from April through October 2012.
